Gas Fitters Arms, 33 Tidy Street, Brighton
Tidy Street was built in the 1840s and No. 33 seems to have been a public house from the start. In the 1850s it was known as the Brazen Star but assumed its later name a few years afterwards. The Landlord for the Brazen Star is shown as R. Marriott in 1864. It was delicensed in 1922, since when it has been a private dwelling.
